I made this bracelet for the days when your joints need something solid and steady beneath them - each segment shaped individually by hand, the copper pressed and formed into its rounded form one node at a time, the same way bamboo builds itself section by section toward the light.

Copper has been worn against the skin for thousands of years by people who needed their bodies to stay supple and their joints to keep moving, and the ones who come back to me always say the same thing: they stopped noticing what they used to notice.

This is one of the last bracelets I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it finds the wrist that needs to go quiet for a while.
